Transport pre-registration

This web based pre-registration tool will help you to create and use transport services on our Jabber server. After pre-registration you will be able to register your JID on our transport services for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes you have to pre-register again.

1. JID:


  • Your JID in the form of username@jabberserver, for example johndoe@jabber.hot-chilli.net.
  • As the JID is case-insensitive, username@jabberserver is the same as UserName@JabberServer.

2. Captcha:

3. Pre-register

If you have filled your JID and the captcha correctly click on the button to proceed to create the pre-registration record for our transport services.

    JID ******@*****.org already exists in database.

    am i just once in my lifetime allowed to register transports?!

      If your JID is also in the database then you do not have to pre-register again. At the moment we do not have the auto-purge feature active, but we will at some later time.

      So if you see this “error”, please go ahead and register for any (!) Spectrum 2 related transport. If this does not work, there is another problem.

    Same for me. Btw, I’m using. Your transports for my gtalk acvcount and XMPP transport don’t work J2J wotks fine

      About your problem with XMPP transport: Is this still a problem? We have/had problems with gmail users a lot, it seems that traffic (sometimes) is too high from gmail to us and back and is dropped. We contacted Google about this and they changed their configuration for the Facebook transport, which is the biggest transport here.

    Same here- I used the pre-registration once, and registered the MSN transport for my account. After that I also couldn’t get into your Network via MIRANDA messenger anymore, before it worked fine. I now only get in via Web Messengers.

    Trying to register another transport later, after the first pre-registration was expired, I encountered the same issue than the other guys. It says that the account is already there and I couldnt register anymore transports. :(

    Ok, by now I registered the Transport over the JAPPIX Webchat thingy. Problem is, my friends that I had in these Networks (MSN, ICQ, FACEBOOK, YAHOO) don’t show online. I mean I see that the Transports are online but for some reason they dont show my contacts. Why is that ?

      Hm, strange. Did the contacts still not appear in the transports? If yes, all you mentioned? Maybe I need to restart the transports as they run for a long time now without any maintenance. If this does not help, I have to contact the maintainer of Spectrum 2.

    Hi! I would like to add XMPP Transport to add FB contacts in GTalk, through PSI.

    I’ve registered an account and done the transport pre-registration.

    In PSI i do the following:

    Service Discovery

    Address: jabber.hot-chilli.net

    Hot-Chilli XMPP Transport -> Register

    Then i get an error message: Forbidden! You don’t have the required permissions… how can i solve this issue?

      I have been using the transports (many) for a few years. I have changed some passwords for those accounts and need to update them in the transports now. I get the same message as above (Forbidden!). Specifically I am having issues with Yahoo and MSN. Thanks for any pointers.

    ugh… I did preregister but it must have been with my hot-chilli account, not my gmail account that i actually link. thanks for bumping me back to my senses.

    Hello,
    I have a big mess with the transport and the jabber servers- Please I m receiving all the time to my email addres in the gibberbot chat a big amount of messages
    “http://jabber.hot-chilli.net: invalid password”

    Please could you delete my association with this account. I would like to stop of receiving this message.
