Change password

This web based tool will help you change the password of your Jabber/XMPP account. Your JID (Jabber IDentifier) will be in the form of username@jabberserver, for example johndoe@jabber.hot-chilli.net. Please read carefully the instructions, complete the fields and you will have your new password ready in less than two minutes.

1. JID:

Your JID in the form of username@jabberserver, for example johndoe@jabber.hot-chilli.net.
As the JID is case-insensitive, username@jabberserver is the same as UserName@JabberServer.
A JID must not contain any of these characters: " ' & / : < > or space

This password protects your account. Don't tell your password to anybody.
If a so called administrator says he needs your password to correct any problem you have, he is lying.
Nobody else but you needs your password.
You can always change your password using your prefered Jabber client or our web based tool.
Most Jabber clients can memorize your password, so you don't need to introduce it everytime.
Please memorize your password, or write it down somewhere, as there is no possibility to recover it.
The password must not contain any of these characters: " ' & / : < > @ * or space
